The American International Adoptee Forum provides a central resource for people adopted to the United States from an international origin. While there are many resources created for parents seeking advice on adopting internationally, there are few resources dedicated to the children themselves. Our goal is to promote discourse that reinforces the common link between international adoptees of all ethnic, racial, political, and religious backgrounds who have made America their home through the process of adoption. Through our online forum, book in progress, and other articles and resources, we will share and explore stories regarding issues of birth country, birth families, culture conflicts, identity issues, interracial and intraracial adoption, and nationalism.
